VounteerREACT
Volunteer Recruitment and Evaluation for Advancing Clinical Trials

VolunteerREACT is a web information system designed to enhance the volunteer recruitment and screening process for clinical trials. It streamlines operations and elevates the experience for both participants and research coordinators.

This platform enables seamless volunteer registration, efficient assessment and qualification based on predefined study criteria, and centralized management of qualified participants.

This system was developed by Jerome Jardin Bartolabac as a capstone project for the course IS295B – Information Systems Project II, the final prerequisite in the Master of Information Systems (MIS) program at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU).

VolunteerREACT leverages modern web technologies and best practices to:

  • Streamline volunteer recruitment and screening processes
  • Ensure data consistency and transparency for study coordinators
  • Support data-driven decision-making in clinical research
  • Enhance user experience for both volunteers and recruiters

This project exemplifies how information systems can be applied to advance public health, support clinical research, and address real-world challenges through technology.
